How accurate is the rate shown on the site?

The converter shows the European Central Bank's reference rate for the latest working day, so it is accurate as a reference but not as an offer. The ECB says its reference rates are usually updated at around 16:00 CET every working day and are published for information purposes only. The date is printed beside the figure on the converter. The rate you actually receive depends on the provider, the amount, the payment method and the time, so confirm it in the provider's final quote before you send.¹
