INR
INR is the international three-letter code for the Indian rupee, the currency of India. It is the currency your recipient normally receives when you send pounds to an Indian bank account, and it is the second half of the pair written GBP/INR. When a quote says the recipient gets a certain amount in INR, check whether that amount is guaranteed or an estimate, because intermediary or receiving banks can sometimes deduct charges. A short definition for orientation. The guides and the institutions' own documents are the places for the details.
